Dear Parents & Guardians,
Red Wing Public Schools’ COVID Procedures for 2022-2023 reflect the CDC’s shifting responsibility to individuals and away from institutions and government. Three key things to remember are:
- Students who exhibit symptoms should stay home until these symptoms have “greatly improved” – a person no longer feels ill; can do their daily routine just as they did before they were ill; any remaining symptoms, such as a cough or runny nose, are very mild, or infrequent.
- Students with symptoms while at school will be sent home.
- The symptoms include:
- Cough
- Runny nose
- Sore throat
- Fatigue
- Headache
- Muscle pains
- Congestion
A risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.
