RED WING WELL@WORK CLINIC

The Red Wing Public Schools Well@Work Clinic was instituted for the purpose of enhancing health care and wellness for eligible employees and dependents.

The Clinic is conveniently located at the Youth Outreach Building at 410 Guernsey Drive, adjoining the High School/Prairie Island Hockey Arena Property.

The Clinic is staffed by a HealthPartners employee who was co-selected by a school district interview team.  This individual is trained by HealthPartners in expectations and processes to run a clinic of this scope.

Appointments
There are two convenient ways for you to make an appointment at your Well@Work clinic.
If this is your first time making an appointment, please call the appointment center at 952-967-5475 to get registered.  You can schedule appointments Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 9:00pm.
After scheduling your first appointment you can schedule online at Healthpartners.

Most appointments take about 20 minutes, because there is only one Physician Assistant available, you may sometimes have a longer wait time.

Regarding walk-ins, if the provider has an open time, you can use a phone in the reception area and speed dial the appointment line and schedule/register. However, we have only one provider, so walk-ins may have to wait.

Staffing
Health Partners will staff the clinic from their float during staff vacations, and will attempt to do so for sick days. If unable to handle a short-term staffing problem due to illness, those appointments will be contacted by Health Partners and rescheduled.  The clinic will have similar holidays to other school staff.

What the clinic won't do...
If you have current prescriptions, the clinic will not fill those—it is not a pharmacy. However, if you visit the provider at the clinic and they renew or write a prescription of a carried generic drug such as those listed above, those drugs can be issued directly.
The clinic will not provide X-Ray services (or MRI or ultrasound).
To a degree, this facility resembles a Minute Clinic, providing care at a wholesale cost. However, unlike a Minute Clinic, individuals can be seen for simple chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
