EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION (ECSE)
ECSE is a program available for infants, toddlers and preschoolers with disabilities and their families in the Red Wing School District. ECSE works to ensure that all children with disabilities are provided the support they need to be successful in their life. ECSE provides teachers, ECSE assistants, speech clinicians, occupational and physical therapists who work throughout the year to provide support to young children with disabilities in their homes, preschools and community. All children have an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) or IEP (Individual Education Program) which contains outcomes and objectives which will be the focus of intervention. Transportation
Transportation needs are addressed through the child's plan (IFSP/IEP). Fees ECSE services are offered at no cost to families. Referrals
Referrals can be made by any concerned individual. Referrals are accepted year round.
