Reading Logs Students are required to keep track of how many minutes they read EACH WEEK as part of their Independent Reading grade for their report card. Each student will receive weekly reading logs for Just Read It, or JRI for short, and THEY ARE DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH WEEK. This will be filled out throughout each quarter with information from the books they read and then the total minutes read added up and turned in at the end of each quarter. The overall grade will be determined by the number of minutes read. Extra copies of the WEEKLY JRI reading logs can be found in the classroom or downloaded at printed at this site. |
