Building:
Our current building was built in 1995.
Prior to that Red Wing High School was housed in Old Central High, which has now been converted into beautiful condos. The Old Central building just celebrated it's 102nd birthday!
Here's a story with some history on the building.
Notable Artwork: As students, staff and guests enter the main doors of our building, they are greeted to the beautiful site and sounds of Goodhue County sculptor Jeff Barber's
bronze-cast eagle statue. The artwork, titled "Departure," soars over the locker bay, framed by tall windows that give views to the surrounding landscapes and accompanied by the sounds of the fountain below.

Commencement: Red Wing High School commencement ceremonies are held the first Friday of June each year. Location of the ceremonies is determined by the weather and is held either at the Russ "Cougar" Marshall Field or in the Larry Sonju Gymnasium.
